Join us in Gold Medal Park for a Sing-A-Long 

         Be That Neighbor is excited to announce a sing-a-long in Gold Medal Park on Saturday, June 10th, from 5:30-7:00 pm.  Bring your lawn chairs, your beverages, and your friends and neighbors.

         The sing-a-long will be led by Barb and Eben Gillespie.  Barb and Eben met in Cambridge, Minnesota.  Both are gifted musicians and Eben heard Barb sing at a wedding and coincidently, he was singing at a wedding that came right after.  They decided to try singing together, accompanied by Eben’s guitar and were asked by a guest at the wedding if they would sing at his wedding.  That was the beginning of their partnership, both musically and personally.

         Barb and Eben have continued singing at weddings, conventions, and at almost every prison in Minnesota. They moved to Minneapolis a few years ago and immediately joined the Mill City Singers and Capri Glee.  They are active in their North Minneapolis neighborhood and are truly THOSE neighbors.

Be That Neighbor invites EVERYONE of all ages as they lead a Free Community Sing-a-long featuring 1970’s Songs of Love and Peace at Gold Medal Park in Minneapolis!  Bring lawn chairs, beverages, and voices in tune and out…and hippie clothes would be so fun but not mandatory.

         Join us!  It will be a wonderful 90 minutes of music and community in our neighborhood.  Mark your calendars now.
